Hoadedhdhoo Association for Development had conducted a consultation with Fiyoaree NGOs and government Institutions. In the consultation HAD’s Director General Mr. Ahmed Ameez highlighted that HAD’s strategic motive is to conduct the programs and projects at provincial level. The consultation was aimed to share the opportunities for the NGOs and government Institutions in Fiyoaree which could be carried out in collaboration with the HAD. The representatives from the NGOs and government Institutions shared the common issues and challenges in the Island and drawbacks for the NGOs to work actively. Furthermore they discussed the assistance HAD could give to their organizations and Institutions. Fiyoaree councilor highlighted the necessity for the capacity building of NGOs and youth leadership to fulfill the dreams and hopes of the Fioaree citizens. Information was also collected on two researches currently undertaken by the HAD namely challenges to Free and fair Election and Environmental challenges in Upper South Province
