Hoadedhoo Association for Development had conducted a seminar human rights to mark the International day of human rights. The seminar was conducted on 10 December 2009 at the HAD resource centre. The seminar comprised of presentation covering the main articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Human Rights treaties that the Maldives had signed and group presentation by the participants highlighting the significance of the human rights to mankind and possible consequences if we do not have those rights. 22 youth participated in this seminar and the seminar was facilitated by HAD’s International consultant Ms. Leah R. Malone M.S. , an expert on the field of human rights
