Huvadhoo Aid Civic Education Programme had begun.The programme was launched on the International Day of Democracy. A session on democracy had been conducted for grade 10 students of Hoadedhdhoo School to mark the International day of Democracy. The session was held at Huvadhoo Aid seminar room. Under the programme sessions on democracy, free and fair elections and challenges to free and fair elections had been conducted in the island of Nadella on 16th September 2010. The sessions were conducted in collaboration with Nadella Island Development Society(NIDS) , Nadella Ekuveringe Rooh(NER) and Nadella Zuvaanunge Rooh(NZR). Grade 10 students of Nadella School and youth participated in the sessions conducted at Nadella School. The same sessions were also conducted in Fiyoary on 17th September 2010 in collaboration with Fiyoary Ekuveri Zuvaanunge Club. Under the programme sessions will be conducted in other islands of Huvadhoo Atoll as well.
