Representatives from NGOs based in South Huvadhoo Atoll, Members of Women\u2019s Development Committee of Hoan\u2019dedhdhoo and Madaveli and\u00a0 youth participants from different islands of South Huvadhoo Atoll participated in the workshop.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The first day of the workshop was focused on increasing awareness on human rights. Comprehensive sessions on International Declaration of Human Rights, Chapter 2 of the Constitution of Maldives \u2013 Fundamental Rights and Freedoms\u201d , Human rights commission of Maldives \u00a0and Role of NGOs in human rights took place in an interactive environment. Participants demonstrated role plays on scenarios where the various human rights are being violated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The second day of the workshop was on Project Cycle Management. Participants were divided into two groups and one group was given the issue of women empowerment and the other group was given the issue of human rights awareness. Each group\u2019s task was to formulate, stakeholder analysis, problem analysis tree, objectives analysis tree, Project design Matrix (PDM) and an action plan. Participants actively engaged in the practical work given to them and came up with interesting presentations.
