The program was targeted to grade 9 and 10 students of Hoadedhoo School. The major components of the program were Exam stress, leadership and drugs and HIV AIDS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Sessions on drug abuse and HIV AIDS were designed according to the age of the students and these sessions are aimed to aware the students on the issue drugs abuse and HIV AIDS and relationship between the two issues.\u00a0 Students were guided with techniques to reduce exam stress and ways to mentally prepare them for their upcoming final exams, especially SSC and GCE O\u2019level examinations. <!--more-->A session on leadership was aimed to develop the leadership <a href=\"http:\/\/hadmaldives.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/10\/new.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1885 alignright\" title=\"new\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/hadmaldives.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/10\/new.jpg?w=300\" height=\"189\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a>skills of the students which is extremely crucial in their practical life and succeeding in the career they choose<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The program was facilitated by trained volunteers of Huvadhoo Aid. 20 students from Hoadedhoo School attended the workshop.\u00a0 Students actively participated in discussions and group works and they were presented with an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Huvadhoo Aid has conducted \u201cSchool-based peer education and stress management program\u2019\u2019 in collaboration with Hoadedhoo School under Strengthening the Public Response to combat Drug Abuse in South Huvadhoo Atoll project funded by UNODC.
